Cape May Labor Day Weekend Best Bets.

Labor Day Weekend Choices Choices Choices.

The proverbial final weekend of the summer is upon us. Or so you think. It makes many of us in hospitality chuckle when people say we’ve made it to the end of the summer. When in fact Cape May doesn’t roll up the sidewalks until the breath of winter is on our back.

This weekend there is still so much to choose from:

John Byrne is back once more playing at Delaney’s on Saturday night. This guy sells out World Cafe in Philadelphia. It’s a rare treat to have him here. His guitar style and authentic Irish Music are not to be missed.

Cape May Summer Club is putting on their final performance on Saturday night at Convention Hall as well. Go see what the critics are raving about.

The Montreal Beach Resort is having their annual concert on Sunday on the upper deck.

The Sensational Soul Cruisers will be playing from 6pm – 9pm. Tickets are $10 for adults $5 for children under 12. Tickets will be sold the day of the concert starting at 5pm. The concert is rain or shine. They have a limited number of tickets, so you need to get there early or you may not get in.

Live musical entertainment abounds in Cape May this weekend. Barry hosts open mic night at the Pilot House and everybody’s favorite Carl Behrens does his thing at the Rusty Nail on Friday night.

Why would you want to be anywhere but Cape May.
