8th Annual Singer-Songwriter Festival

8th Annual Singer-Songwriter Festival

Less than three weeks away. Although primarily an industry event I wouldn’t anyone not to know about it.

March 27 and 28 at the Historic Congress Hall and select showcase venues in Cape May

Music will fill the air as singer-songwriters unite for an annual music maker conference hosted by the historically famous Congress Hall in Cape May.  This event is designed for singer-songwriters of all genres and those with interest in the music industry as a whole.

The two-day event will feature two afternoons of music business panels, workshops, clinics, mentoring/demo listening sessions, and musical keynote speakers. The focus will be on emerging and networking between established talent, music industry professionals, and the community.  This year’s keynotes and featured performers are Patty Larkin and Dan Navarro.

Music industry professionals attend this event as performers, speakers, mentors, and talent scouts. They share their experience and network with musicians, songwriters, students, and registrants during the afternoon educational seminars, mentoring sessions and stick around for the nightly showcases performances. The networking portion of this event will provide the aspiring artists with the education, tools and contacts they will need to advance their careers. Miscpics 254

Artists will have a chance to share their beautiful music during evening performances at select venues around town.  150 acts and artists will take the stage at 18 different Cape May venues over the course of two nights. Members of the local community are invited to share in the celebration of independent artists at all of the venues, free of charge.

As a host motel the Victorian has a chance to frontline interact with the Artists. We created our own “cheat-sheet” of who’s who with website links. Click here to see a partial list. We will keep updating the list as time draws near.
