Announcing a brand new show on WCFA 101.5 and streaming at wcfa-lp.org. Cape May Locals Radio, the local station of the Center for Community Arts.

The Locals’ premieres Friday, July 8th at 2:00 PM. with myself, Michael Clark, Shaine Meier and Ed McDonough.

Ed McDonough will be moderator and host of the program.

We will be recording the show at Uncle Bill’s Pancake House in Cape May and our first guest will be Jack Wright, publisher of Exit Zero Magazine.

We’ll be doing the show bi-weekly. Keep an eye out here on Facebook for possible re-play air times.

We  are planning to chat about everything from government to entertainment. From Cape May’s past to Cape May present and the future. LOCAL will be the emphasis for this new show and I’m happy to be included in a group of distinguished gentlemen who know our city and area so very well. So if you want to know what’s going on locally, I invite you to join us!

Since the station’s broadcast reaches as far north as Avalon, Michael Clark of Sturdy Bank and the Mayor of Middle Township will be discussing things north of Cape May as well. Shaine Meier of West Side Market and the youngest council person ever elected at 29 in Cape May will contribute his lifelong knowledge of Cape May.

The program will also feature a What’s Cooke-ing segment, where I will update on popular upcoming events such as Movies on the Beach and concerts at Convention Hall.

We felt Cape May hasn’t  had a talk format program on the radio. The show’s concept has been compared to the National Public Radio format of the barbershop segment.

Consider dialing us up on your computer at work or home. We can also be tuned in at 101.5 FM on your local radio dial. Drop us a line and let us know where you heard us, what you thought and what you would like us to talk about in future programs. After all it’s about your Cape May.
