Happy Birthday Joy. Otherwise known as Cape May Joy Cooke on Facebook. Click and like her Facebook page to really overdose on cuteness and puppy mush. Six years ago today Joy was born to Chanel of Kalm Seas Golden Retrievers in Vincent town New Jersey.
Joy has been a popular Golden Retriever in Cape May, and at her home for six years at the Victorian Motel. A regular attender of the front desk, Joy has even been mentioned on TripAdvisor, the review website for travelers.
So let us see how many times I’ve written about Joy.Too many to count. Even Joy posted a blog from her perspective. You can read that here.
Joy has even been known to crash a wedding in Cape May. I think this is captioned “Hey bud ditch the bride and take me.”
Contrary to popular belief Joy is not just a ‘daddy-dog.” She is the ultimate family dog. With basic training by the Cape May County Dog Obedience Club and fellow innkeeper Regina Dougherty McCarren, from Twin Gables Bed and Breakfast. And follow up training with the My Smart Puppy method.
Joy has been written up in Exit Zero’s “My Perfect Day,” and has been the subject of Cape May Bird’s twitter cartoon. It’s a Dog’s life for her.
