Fled south. Far south to United States Virgin Islands. First sunrise Saturday morning. Truth is if you based your first experience of St Thomas USVI on arrival and taxi ride you might not go back. You must experience the sheer natural beauty. Although some find the taxi ride from the airport to Red Hook adventuresome others find it frightening in a laughable sort of way. But once settled in on the Island its real serenity takes over.
