Cape May Style of Winter Wonderland
Cape May got her first taste of winter weather today. Frigid temperatures are knocking on Cape May’s door and a light dusting of snow fell Tuesday morning.
Just enough snow fell to accent the winter beauty that is Cape May style of winter wonderland. With he New Years Eve guests departed, Cape May presumably enters her slumber stage.
In reality though, winter is the time of repair, refurbishment and upgrading infrastructure that can’t happen during the busy season. Upgrades to electrical systems, furniture replacements and a host of interior renovations are scrambling just out of eye’s glimpse.
So a light dusting of snow sets the tone to “awe” as we walk about town and take in the quiet winter wonderland landscape.
Victorian homes look lovely against the gray sky.
A hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate would surely melt the snow off these tables and chairs.
Everyone’s favorite view of the Washington Street Mall from the Victorian Motel.
