Widely regarded as Cape May’s best attended one-day event, the 6th annual Harbor Fest has been scheduled for Saturday, June 15th. Last year, Harbor Fest was stretched into a three-day event commencing with the Blessing of the Waters ceremony on Friday night and concluding with a bevy of water based activities on Sunday. Saturday, of course, will combine the best elements of a street festival and community block party complete with vendors, nature programs, children activities, live music, exhibits, a beer garden, and the ever popular scallop challenge.
On average, Harbor Fest attracts between 10,000 and 13,000 people on Saturday alone. It does for Cape May what Bay Fest does for Somers Point. In only four years it has evolved into a “must-do” event for locals and visitors alike.
There are ample opportunities for City and County businesses to “tap-into” this once-a-year influx of potential customers. Spaces on Delaware Avenue are available for $125 each. Event Sponsors, our “Harbor Partners” receive banner placement, announcements over the public address system, posting on the website, and premium locations on Saturday. Harbor Fest is a joint effort of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May and the Nature Center of Cape May.
