Sundays are fun days for some of the Golden Retrievers of Cape May. With access to a Nature conservancy area, dogs can be let off leash to run as they love too.
Retrievers with names like Riley, Corey, Max and Jax and others like Joy gather for afternoon runs. A couple of fresh water ponds on the property allow for swimming scenes like the one pictured above.
All of this ensures sleepy afternoons for the puppies which normally overflow with energy.
Quite a few of the Goldens have been adopted from Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Maryland.
If not out at the farm, as we affectionately call it, we can head to the beach in the off season. Either way the Goldens of Cape May are sure to get plenty of exercise.
Looks like a great time no matter what the season!

The great thing is that no matter how cold the kids go in the pond. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment. Appreciate it.
Hi John – would you mind sharing where this is? All the conservancies I know do not allow pets. Thanks.

Hi Joe,
Sorry for not responding sooner. This pond is on a private farm that borders Nature Conservancy land. It is south of the canal. Thanks for finding and reading the blog.
