John lives a Joy filled life. But it’s been over a year since he let me at the keyboard. So for this blog post John let me (Joy) take over the typing for the day.
You see, John usually gets all the attention . But this month I was included in an article in Cape May Magazine. The article was about the working dogs of Cape May. There were more dogs than I realized.
Patti Goyette, was sent by the magazine to the motel where I live, to take pictures of what a Joy- filled-life at work looks like. This blog is a collection of out-takes from my photo-shoot that didn’t make the magazine. I think they’re pretty fabulous.
Like my owner John, this was not my first time getting published. I was once a calendar girl in the Workman publishing, Dog-a-Day calendar. I was Miss August (something or other.)
I also like to brag that my canine father, Kalm Seas To Have and To Hold: “Will”, was the best Golden Retriever at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show last year.
I have my own Facebook page, but don’t tweet like my friend Emily the Jack Russel Terrier. I keep telling John to set me up my own Instagram but he says he doesn’t have time. The struggle is real.
I’ve overheard John telling guests and delivery humans to cut back on the treats. He says I might be a tad thick. Thick? Tell him to cut back on the craft beer–I’ll show you thick.
Keep the treats coming folks
JOY to you!!!
