The day after Christmas Beach walk finds overcast skies and in the absence of wind, a still, flat ocean. Very unusual ocean conditions for this time of year.
The sound of recruits shouting cadence is pretty much the only sound heard other than the gently breaking waves. All in all a pretty good way to ease back into routine after the holiday.
