Robert Burns Supper In a Promising New Home

Cape May, NJ (January 4th, 2023) –Picture this; a super packed The Look Out at Ferry Park, elbow to elbow with kilt-clad men and women, in a steamy room. Now pack in a dozen bagpipers, snare drummers, and a large base drummer balancing a pint of Gunisses on top of his drum. The energy creates goosebumps. And then there’s the Haggis. That scene is the Robert Burns supper in a promising new home.

Burns suppers are one of the most culturally immersive events to hit Cape May. When Jack Wright and I first discussed the idea in 2004 (arguably), I knew Jack was a world-class Scottsman because he was already thinking of plans for the event.
