Winter Solstice Cape May Sperlak Style

Winter Solstice Cape May Sperlak Style

Better late than never the saying goes. Photos I made at last year’s Sperlak Soire that never got published. Until now.

An extraordinary evening of stories, music, and food with a kind and generous host, Stan Sperlak at Crow Creek Farm.

Cape May seems to weather the colder months better than most other seashores
north of the Mason Dixon Line Cape Cod natives used to wave goodbye from’
the bridges on the Mid Cape Highway on Labor Day to tourists who probably
won’t be back until July. Cape Cod’s high season is only July and August.
Cape May seems like a great place to be year around aided by the Cape May
Stage and East Lynn Theater Co. staying active past Summer.
My trips to Cape May have included tent camping, renting cottages
    and staying in motels.
